About Foundry House:
Foundry House is a New York–based production collective built on the belief that raw stories, when forged with craft and vision, can shine brighter than their budgets. We’re a creative home for emerging filmmakers, actors, musicians, storytellers and those in the pursuit of business who want to make and be a part of bold, atmospheric, and emotionally charged work.
Members of Foundry House are not only in the projects they create, but also help bring them to life. You may hold an interest in acting as well as social media marketing/promotion, or you might be a cinematographer who is passionate about costume design. However you'd like to contribute, Foundry has a place for you.
With this approach, we have the versatility of a club with the professional oversight of a film studio. Our structure allows us the capability to become our own suits and build real credits, not just practice projects. Members are able to walk away with tangible portfolio pieces that both elevate them and provide a pathway to the opportunities they desire.
Why? Because we leave our work up to no one but ourselves.
Who We Are Looking For
Joining Foundry House means becoming part of a team — not just a group. Members commit to treating every production as real cinema, contributing skills and energy toward a shared vision, and upholding the professional standards that define our brand all for the benefit of our team members.
We will work hard, have fun, and build a community in the midst of it all. At the end of the day, the objective is to grow everyone's individual brand by raising our work to a higher tier and standard that will be undeniable to the film industry.
Any person of any age and any background is welcome at Foundry House Films
Team Standards
Commitment → Members are expected to actively contribute to productions, whether on set, in marketing, finance, or other departments.
Collaboration → Foundry House is built on collective decision-making. Members must be open to feedback, respectful of all voices, and supportive of the group’s final direction.
Professional Attitude → This is not a “student film” environment. All projects are treated as professional cinema, and members are expected to carry themselves accordingly.
Creative Alignment → Members should embrace Foundry House’s identity — bold, collaborative, and brand-driven.
Our Structure
Foundry House is powered by the abilities of its members, in which the combination of both on and off set skills are what set us apart. We are looking for individuals who are able to contribute on-screen, as crew, or within the organization itself - we absolutely welcome those who are able to hold positions in multiple aspects of Foundry.
Members are also invited to put forward scripts to be selected for the collective's next film! We have a script review committee that will choose a submitted screenplay, where it will be presented to the group by the script writer and Admin Team at our weekly group meeting.
Ideally, members are willing to participate in both screen/crew positions as well as an organizational position - no major experience necessary.
